Thank you to Celadon, Bookish First and Cat Shook for an ARC of If We're Being Honest. I liked the blurn preview so much, I used my points to secure a copy. I don't give away spoilers in my reviews.
I loved the cover of the houses in a neighborhood. I also liked the title. I am a fan of most family stories and this was no exception.
The main characters - the grandkids - were all interesting. I loved how each had struggles, flaws, strengths and concern for one another. I liked the intertwining of their stories.
Their grandmother was one of my favorite characters. I admit I thought she was a doormat until the storyline continued. She is independent, forgiving and loves her family.
I did struggle at first trying to keep all the characters straight and was overwhelmed with how many characters there were. However, every character was important in this story.
Ie We're Being Honest was a nice family story and I enjoyed it.
