I knew from the very first pages this was going to be a decent, and humorous, family drama novel. I loved that it started at a funeral but was just downright funny. When an author can take a dark moment, and add a few laughs, that is talent. It was a little hard to get into as there were so many characters introduced at once. It was difficult for me to keep track of and I really think the book would have greatly benefited from a family tree in the beginning to reference. Once the story picked up, it was no longer an issue for me but that made it a little hard to get into the pacing in the beginning. The family drama was realistic and reminiscent of family times with relatives. Especially the interactions with the siblings and the secrets that came out in the past. The interactions among the family really were what made the story and the humor. The characters made the story!
