Gery's funeral brings together many friends and family members. Many family members come from grandchildren in Eulalia, Georgia to attend their grandfather's funeral. However, when the family is involved, things can get messy. This story seems like a wonderful deep dive into how family can be both a blessing and a curse at times. Books that deep dive into a family, generational drama, and family history are very interesting and always heart-warming read. I look forward to reading this book when it comes out. I get the vibes that it will be a bit like the joy luck club meets everything I never told you. I cannot wait to see the praise this book gets(and deserves) throughout its time on the market.
