I picked up this book because of the title! Very intriguing title. The start also kept up with it, and was amazing. A great book for family drama lovers. Be ready for a lot of characters though. It gets hard to keep up with them until later when you get used to them. I like the story, but didn't get attached to the characters as much. It shows the difference between the personalities of the family members who belong to different generations too, and how differently they react to news. It talked abut their different struggles, and then the common relationship troubles. It has a mix of emotional sections, and some humor running alongside. It is one where you ask questions along the way about the coming future of each character, once you get invested.
Overall, it was interesting, enjoyable, easy-read, and I would definitely read more from Cat Shook.
