The Williams family planed to return to their family home for the wedding of a neighbor. When the patriarch dies everyone comes home for the funeral and stays for the wedding. Ellen, her three children and her grown grandchildren are in for a shock when Gerry's bestfriend uses the eulogy to share a secret. This is a chaotic group of people dealing with loss, their own issues and each other. I really enjoyed this book and the dynamics between all the family members. A few I could have done without but overall it was an entertaining bunch. The structure of the writing was interesting. There were often POV shifts from one paragraph to the next. While this could have been jarring and confusing it was actually really well done and felt seamless. The grown grandchildren had a really fun dynamic and they were all pretty enjoyable characters to read. I would definitely recommend this book!
