I enjoy reading books about families and how family members interact with one another in various circumstances. What Fred revealed about his “friend” Gerry would have been a real shocker to everyone. The author has set up a difficult situation for all in the family to work through. In addition, it appears the grandchildren have situations with former acquaintances they need to find resolutions for. This would be an interesting book to read.
