I love the first line of this book - "Gerry Williams's funeral was a shit show." It reminds me of how I'd describe various family functions in my own life. I liked the plot of this story, but I feel like there were so many characters introduced in such a short time and their relationships with each other weren't clearly defined. I'm sure that problem resolves itself the further you get into the story and identifying their characteristics.
