The beginning introduces us to a family. Starting with a funeral actually worked to give all the background needed on the characters. Being introduced to them, I can tell they are each their own unique character. Anyone interested in reading about family and their drama would probably enjoy this. It isn't what I would usually pick up, but the writing did flow smoothly and kept me engaged in the story.
