The connections that David Arnold built to connect these two souls throughout the years are beyond belief! The way he creates their love and then how they continue to find each other is just beautiful to read. Shosh’s character was so mournful and disenchanted with the world around her once she lost her sister. In the beginning it seemed as if nothing would be able to touch her heart again. I enjoyed reading her journey forward. Evan on the other hand cared so much, but tried to hide his feelings behind jokes or random musings. Seeing how he also grew and showed his feeling more freely was a great evolution to read. This book was a very interesting read and the many different types of writing presented kept it fresh and enchanting as you read. This is a love story worth reading and one that will stay with you even after you have finished the last page.
