I loved a previous book of this author (Mosquitoland), so I'm optimistic about this one. It's feeling a bit disjointed so far - jumping from Evan to Shosh, back and forth, plus a scene from 1832...I know it will all come together at some point. Let's just hope it doesn't take too long to get there!
