I like we better was sadly ultimately a disappointment for me, but to give it credit it had one really funny joke that I laughed at comparing priory of the orange tree to a dictionary. The queer romance was just meh for me, it has the usual miscommunication/messup at like the 80% mark. What really ruined this book for me was the sports. Normally I like sports romances, but only one of them is playing a sport and the entire team sucks. They are trying to be like the last awful leader which makes them a bad leader too, but none of the teammates were likable to me either. I would have liked this book a lot more if it just focused more on the marine science aspect and less on stupid soccer team dynamic drama. Everyone threatened to quit like five times and just changed their mind. Lastly there is a cute dog named Odin, Odin I love you you have done no wrong.
