This was a fantastic read! It's a typical romcom with low stakes, some external issues that may enhance the tension, and a really likeable ensemble of characters. The humor is excellent, and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling. I absolutely adored all the characters!!! This book is the perfect summer beach read lol. This is definitely a slow burn romcom. Zack the main character ends up falling in love with chip. Chip and zack’s relationship was so adorable I was rooting for them the whole time! This is YA romance is a charming summertime romance about growing up. Zack is a rising senior and on the soccer team and falls in love with chip a marine geek. I love the fact there is no homophobia zack was already openly accepted as gay. This was a nice and fun queer book that I throughly enjoyed i will be picking this book again for another fun read!!
