I was really hopeful that this would be a really cute and summery romance read but this book was low key garbage. I do not understand at all what people like about this book because it is so cringey in how it is written. I think one thing that is so horrible for writers to do is include pop culture references because it is genuinely so hard to do well in books. If I have to read "I am in my rep era" I will probably immediately dock at least one star from the book. I will say, the cover is really cute, though. I don't know, but this book was really not that good. It is a low stakes book that for sure has some interesting concepts but to be honest it just fell a bit below my already lower expectations. I don't know, I just think that it could have been something really great but it just wasn't and I probably would not recommend this book to anyone that I know of.
