The cover had a very breezy, refreshing design that immediately made me think of summer and relationships and new starts, which is a perfect intro to the book before it even starts. Once you actually start reading, you're thrown right into Zack's life and his friendships, his hopes and worries, and his dynamic with his classmates, all of it feeling organic without taking you out of the story. I'm also surprised to see myself invested in what'll happen in his friends' and classmates' lives along with his own, and I'm very interested to see the rest of this half a summer.
