I was so excited when I saw this cover. I didn’t even read the blurb as I was sure I would love it. However, it involves one of my most hated YA tropes….good kid taking the blame for popular kid. I just struggle with that trope so very much that I know I will have trouble loving the book. I do love how the main character was written in the part I read.
