I wish I was in THIS high school experience
This First Impression has me envious of today's high school students. It's popular to be an activist, to be gay, to be kind, to volunteer your time now. The post-millennial names are ridiculous, but this book seemingly escapes that fad.
Sports stories are very popular right now, so I love the soccer trope. What I will really love when I get to read this book, though, is the ocean cleanup trope. We didn't have that when I was in high school. Nobody volunteered. Any the library? Swoon.
I want to bathe in this world.
The cover is horrendous. Is this a graphic novel? Get rid of the cartoon cover.
