This book was heartbreaking -- in the best way. It was so good I didn't realize how late I had stayed up to finish the book until I hit the last page and all the sudden it was almost 1am. I love the way I Have Lost My Way was written - Gayle Forman captures a melancholy vibe in a way that grabs you from page one; I cared about Freya, Nathaniel, and Harun and their lives/problems immediately. The concept(s) of loss that are explored really hit home for me, especially Nathaniel's story line. I adored the (somewhat) ambiguous ending. Not everything was wrapped up in happy little packages, not everything was okay at the end and I liked it. What a sad, beautiful book. (And a quick read at >300 pages)
