I loved this book so much!
This was heartbreaking and amazing. I simply loved it!
I loved Freya, Harun, and Nathaniel. They're all going through something and it's devastating in their world. Their grief and sadness and uncertainty somehow makes the three of them meet at a time when they all needed it.
I loved how Gayle handled sensitive topics like suicide, abandonment, homophobia and mental health. She didn’t shy from them. She tackled them head on.
It was a bit to get into at first. There are three POVs and they do switch between first and third person, plus there are several flashbacks.
Overall, it was everything I expected. It was hopeful, heartbreaking, swoony and sweet. And even though I wanted so much more at the ending, I truly loved this slice of time.
