I adored this book, teaming with three relatable characters that immediately feel like your best friend; your best friend who is secretly struggling with insecurities and secrets that run so deep into their identities they can’t share with you. There’s Freya who is on the cusp of being famous but can’t find her voice and Nathaniel who is alone in the world without his father and Harun who is gay but can’t cone out to his family and has lost his first love because of it. These three meet serendipitously as each realizes (s)he has lost his/her way. I found myself rooting for each to find the path to happiness within. I was left wanting more. Will Gagarin find his love and the courage to come out to his family shattering the identity he has constructed for them? Will Freya find her voice and her confidence within her broken family in the absence of fame? And Nathaniel..why is he traveling alone and to what end? I’m excited to learn how these three help each other and in doing so find their own way.
