I Have Lost My Way is the story of three strangers whose lives intersect at the moment that each of them need support and comfort. Freya is a singer who has lost her voice, Harun has lost the love of his life, and Nathaniel has lost it all. Will the three lost souls be able to find the peace that each of them needs through the instant connection that they feel?

Author Gayle Forman has once again created characters that are realistically portrayed and richly drawn. It is easy to imagine Freya, Harun, and Nathaniel walking the city streets of New York in the present time. The only negative to the book is the plot itself, as it is simplistic and lacking details. There is not much to the novel without the three main characters, but I found myself not really minding. I really enjoyed getting to know Freya, Harun, and Nathaniel and would recommend I Have Lost My Way to readers who enjoy character driven novels.
