Definitely adding to To Read on Goodreads!!!
I am really impressed by the beginning of this story. I have never read a book by this author before. If I Stay has been on my to read list for so long. Now, I see why people like him as an author.
The book opens at what I feel like the perfect time. It's not a opening of detail, but it is enough to help me feel like I know where I am and who I'm with. The 3rd person selective point of view was clever, because we see inside of Freye's head and thoughts, but it was not overwhelming at all.
I can tell if I would like a book within the first 25 pages or so, and this book really pulled me in, and it was a writing style that I can stick with easily. So I will definitely be adding this to my To Read section on Goodreads.
