Interesting start; strong characters, intriguing premises: I would be curious to see where this goes. Looks like a compelling read. The initial set-up introduces the characters: Freya and her stage mother, Haruh and his lover. Each feels that their lives are out of control. While I only skimmed the first couple of chapters, I wonder how the author is going to get them to meet. Clever use of social media by the author does seem to point out how under a microscope one can be when sharing on different platforms. There seem to be a lot of current "hot button" topics brought up right at the start which makes me wonder whether this will be a challenging read or whether it will follow through on the various types and provide the easy (right? correct?) answers. I am curious and might follow through on hunting this one down as there are a lot of questions raised by the introduction that are topical and interesting.
