I’m not quite sure how I feel about the author's books. I like them, but they’re not my favorite contemporaries. Maybe it’s the subject matter, but I find that I don’t enjoy her books as much as other books in the genre. I will still continue to read her books in the future. But maybe that contributed to the fact that I didn't like this book.
This was a very interesting concept. Bringing three people together who have “lost their way.” I didn’t come to care for the characters, and so I just wanted to finish the story. I couldn’t relate to the characters, so maybe that’s why? I also was not a fan of her writing style in this book. Overall, the concept had potential but in my opinion, it wasn’t reached.
