Gayle Forman has done it again. This book is beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. The characters are all trying to come to terms with loss in different ways and they're all facing some very scary things, but instead of choosing to go it on their own or be selfish, they choose to support each other and an awesome friendship comes from it. As each story unfolds and you learn more about the characters, it just gets more and more heartwrenching. For those concerned about family-friendly content, there is swearing throughout and a few parts with sexual content. There is a bit of gore when talking about a particular character's back story but it's descriptive and not there too shock the reader. It's definitely a teen novel, not for kids. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed the read and will be recommending it to many.
