First of all, Gayle Forman is an author that I love having in my classroom. My students are drawn to her books and they appreciate that she creates authentic stories for them. So many YA authors seem to speak down to kids and Forman gets them. I loved the cover and summary of this book and the first read just made me want to read it and share it with my students even more.
