The first sentence draws you in. The characters and storyline keep you there.
We are immediately introduced to Freya. She’s young and an aspiring singer on her way to the top. I have to admit I didn’t like her much at first. I thought she was so self involved but the more I read the more I needed to know about her. She was intriguing.
Next we meet Harun. He wants to escape the life he’s living. He’s unhappy and who wouldn’t be in his situation. I liked him a lot and I’m not sure if my heart is ready for his story.
Last but not least we have Nathaniel. There’s more to him than meets the eye. He has nothing to lose and a man like that can be dangerous or is he? I’m really excited about his story. I can’t wait to read the whole book but I think he may be my favorite character and maybe it’s because of the mystery that surrounds him. I don’t know but I’m ready to find out!
