I was excited to see a new book from Gayle Foreman. I enjoyed both If I Stay and Just One Day from her previously. Now after reading a third of her newest, I am greatly enjoying this one and I'm sad I have to wait a couple of months to read more.
Freya, Harun, and Nathaniel are a diverse group of young adults, but still so similar at the same time. The format of the book, going from present day then each of their pasts, works and it's nice to learn more about all three characters piece by piece. There's still a lot to learn about all 3 and I'm curious about what will happen in present day.
