I am so upset that I don’t have “I Have Lost My Way” in my hands right now. From the excerpt I found myself lost in the minds of these three very sad yet uniquely beautiful strangers. There were parts that gave me chills and other parts that resonated with me so deeply that I was loath to be forced to end my reading. It’s so beautiful, raw, and real and my heart kept pinching in the pain of it. The diversity and the balance of each character and their own issues is brilliantly done. This is probably one of the best of Gale’s works and I have barely read a short portion of it!
As for the cover, I really enjoy how melancholy and almost haunting it is. It’s very simple in design, but for a book like this it really works. I love it!
