Gayle does a masterful job of weaving three individual stories and the criss crossing timeline is well demonstrated. These types of stories can be confusing, but I feel like this story did a good job of establishing where in time we are. The three characters present a lot of interesting issues and situations, and I would love to see how those are explored further throughout the course of the novel.
