How Far Would You Go For Your Dreams?
Becoming a ballerina has always been Laurence’s dream. Together with her best friend, Coralie, the two vye for attention and praise where little can be found in the hard competitive world of ballet in Paris. But underneath lies a river of red and a promise of strength too good to be turned down. And so begs the question, how far would you go for your dreams?
This novel was gripping and had me guessing the whole time. I loved the river Acheron and loved Andor so much. The characters were all so unique and I loved the mystery and intrique. But at one point it kinda felt like the powers were being handed out a little much. I also just wish the reveal was more fleshed out as it still didn’t make complete sense at the end.
I am not too sure if I will read the sequel/spinoff to this as I felt it was perfect as a standalone! The writing was phenomenal though so I just might anyway
