I always always love horror books. It says in the summary that the book is a slow burn horror but right at the beginning it is a great horror book. It doesn’t slow down at all there is a really good amount of horror in the book. In the book one of the characters wants to gain ultimate power, but wanting it always comes at a cost, and the costs for her are really high and there are many betrayals from others. Which makes the horror book even better. I really loved this book and could not put it down. I am really looking forward to more books from this author because I really did love this book and so I cannot wait to see more books like this or even other types. I thought it was going to be hard to read through all of it so fast since it is a bigger book and usually I take a few days but this only took me two days to finish and I was so surprised that I was able to finish it that quickly!
