Okay so first and foremost, I love the styling of this first impression. The black pages with white text followed by that black page with just the subtle print was STUNNING. And that first line of chapter one, what a hook!
I love Laure so far. I can relate to the perfectionist who is willing to sacrifice without knowing how much of herself she is sacrificing. And one of the things I love most about her character is that I could really see my opinion on her evolving as she makes more decisions and things progress, which is always super engaging!
