“ I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast is Me” by Jamison Shea is a really strong debut novel, from what I’ve read. The slow creeping horror is very immersive and the themes of exclusion and exploitation echo real life experiences in real life, which makes the horror elements all the more palpable.
