The blurb feels like it starts as a statement on inclusion, fine but I wouldn't want that to be the prime focus of the story. I want the horror and from this first few pages I'm not seeing it. Add in the fact that it's YA and it doesn't feel promising to me to be very creepy. Just not seeing any new take on the material.
