Love a horror with meaningful symbolism
So many of us fade into the background, despite having something worthwhile to offer. It’s hard to watch others succeed, especially when it isn’t necessarily due to merit, but other cutthroat advances. Doesn’t that cause so many true talents to sacrifice themselves to a monster? That’s the vibe I’m getting from this book and, despite its supernatural elements, it feels all too real. I’m hoping the execution is phenomenal, as I am really excited about this story!
