This book both intrigues me but also makes me feel a bit uncertain. I like that it started with a little warning of what it's depicting, because while one can enjoy thriller and horror books, it's good to be aware if there are things that can push a boundary. I think the opening definitely gave an eerie feeling, and then the first full chapter had me not yet fully hooked, but definitely intrigued. I'm definitely curious enough to want to read more.
