I enjoyed this first look! I wish it had been a bit longer to really delve more into the story and the tone of the work, but even still, I was really drawn into this very intense, perfection-focused world of ballet. Furthermore, the opening scene showing some strange, ritualistic blood-magic also really drew me into the story, and it made me very curious on how Laure ends up there. I liked Laure's character voice and her perspective on all the happenings around her, where she's both determined to make it in this deeply toxic world while also keenly aware of the ways in which it's trying to keep her out. And I loved the little sinister mentions of things like witchcraft or "cannibalizing" previous successful ballerinas, I thought that that really added to the spooky atmosphere really well.
