Dark and Gritty Story with an Important Message

Wow! This introduction to a story is one of the strongest I've read in a long time. The cover gripped me from the first moment and the subtext of both the cut-throat ballet field with the extra challenges race plays in this story, lead Laure to make some questionable decisions. The added benefit of a dark magic/energy angle, have me hooked. Cannot wait to see what is next in this story.
