This gave the same vibe as Sawkill Girls. The prologue gives exactly what a ballet horror book should starting with a bloody ritual sacrifice. While nothing much happens plot wise in the first few pages the author still conveys a horror feel with wording and imagery. I definitely think this will be something many people enjoy, if your squeamish with blood imagery it might be good to skip.
