Striking a deal with a pulsating river of blood ... what could possibly go wrong? Scary stories are really popular with teen readers, and I love that this one connects the world of ballet with monsters. The First Look definitely hooked my interest to continue reading, and the plot description especially has me curious about what will happen next. Looks like this one will go to some really dark places, which is underscored by the cover image. Jamison Shea's debut will be fun to booktalk with fans of horror!
