Ballet is a new horror

I've read several books in the past ten years showcasing one or another aspect of ballet. From the ridged rules on body shape and size to what you can eat, ballet doesn't seem to me to be a wholesome vocation. Bur when you watch the dancers perform, it is delightful. I suppose it's about time someone used the artform as the setting for a horror story.
