An Unexpected Start!

When I began the First Look for “I Fed Her to the Beast and the Beast is Me,” I’ll admit I was a bit nervous for what was to come. The cover is particularly dark and ominous, yet intriguing. And the content warning at the start encompassed a lot, especially in a book geared towards young adults. Therefore the next section was quite unexpected, as I wasn’t anticipating this novel to be about ballerinas. I’m sure the book will get darker as it continues, but thus far actually much tamer than I was anticipating. I’m excited to read on and find out more about Joséphine and Laure, as I’m sure we’ve just scratched the surface on these characters!
