A moving yet gory horror book
Firstly, the cover. Like, the cover is so dramatic, with the girl lying in blood and the skull symbol in the background. Where did they even get so much blood? Damn that's creepy!
I also love that in Laure's desire for recognition, she becomes a worse monster than the people she is getting revenge upon. This is a book where the main character is the villain, which is uncommon yet should be more popular.
