I really liked Shook's first novel, and the first impression of her second one indicates that I'll enjoy this one just as much. Presley is a likable, relatable protagonist, and I like the behind the scenes of a late show setting. I'm already curious how her relationship with Adam will progress (she has a crush, clearly, and he's oblivious)...I'm not expecting huge surprises with this novel, but I have no doubt it will be an entertaining. read.
