I see a lot of myself in Presley Fry so far in terms of a love life. Before I met my boyfriend, I felt just like her. I'm excited to see where her love life goes because at the moment, I'm hoping she'll get with Adam, but I have a feeling she'll end up with Lawrence, but it would be a nice surprise if she didn't! I also like the fact that our main character feels like a normal woman. Not some super successful entrepreneur who has it made, but a hard worker looking for a promotion while navigating grief and a social life mixed with potential turmoil with her boss and her mother's childhood friend.
I love the title and the bright cover. From these first few chapters, I could picture the bustling city and imagined it to be just like the cover, bright and busy. Romance has never been my favorite genre, but I am entirely excited to read this book!
