The first chapter provided on Bookish First grabbed me right away....and probably was not something you'll want to read if you're headed off on a plane trip! For me, the book went downhill a bit from there in that so much was predictable. The story itself is very interesting and unique, and so even though I had a good idea of how all the different issues (sibling relationships, love, parental conflict, etc.) were going to turn out, I was interested enough to keep reading.
One of my favorite quotes in the book was from Margaret's sister, Kitty: There are all kinds of happy endings...and that's great advice to live by! Oh, and by the way, I want a PT like Ian if I'm ever in the need....
