This book was so good, yet so heartbreaking. To be so in love with someone and have them drop you after an accident sounds absolutely terrible. I find any book that makes you hate a character purposefully to be well written, which this book definitely is.
The main character's development after the accident is astounding, and I could figuratively feel her pain throughout the book. I kept wanting her to be happy and find new love with someone who is not shallow. Although the subject matter can be heavy, I felt that the end of the novel was heartwarming; this book is definitely worth the read even if a few tears are shed.
This is the only novel I have read by Katherine Center, but I cannot wait to read her others!
