I absolutely loved this book. Right from the beginning, I was pulled into a story that was absolutely horrifying and my worst nightmare. I felt for the main character, and I feared for her future. Certain characters did annoy me, which was intentional of the author, and certain ones I really liked. Though predictable, I could not put this book down and thought it was excellent.
I loved the ending, and I have to say that Ms. Center's writing style is absolutely beautiful. She knows how to write in a way that doesn't feel rushed, that tells enough of the details to build up the story and help you understand the characters, and does use any 'filler' content. I cannot wait to read her other books, and Katherine Center will be a favorite of mine now.
