I truly adored this book and was very sad to leave Margaret's world at the end. This is on the surface a story of loss but the author has a way of showing us that in loss there is reinvention and discovery.
On what should have been one of the happiest days of her life, Margaret's life is turned upside down. She is faced with the reality that her former life may forever be a thing of the past and she deals with it in her own way. She is able to embrace silver linings and undoubtedly makes the most of a terrible situation.
This is a story of love, strength, and the fight to stay true to yourself in spite of great adversity. Margaret's fortitude will stay with me for a long time and i am crossing my fingers for a movie version of this beautiful story!
