I felt renewed by this story. I felt a resurgence of energy and hope within me. I don't typically read stories like this and I thought it was particularly refreshing. Everyone needs a palate cleanser once in a while, at least in my opinion. I think the protagonist was brave and personified the type of courage I would hope to possess if faced with a similar situation.
